About the Role:
Are you a curious and ambitious Data Scientist with experience working in Market Research looking for more ownership and the chance to make a bigger impact? Harnham is working exclusively on a new role with a growing research company, where you’ll have the opportunity to take charge of research projects from start to finish and help our clients navigate our cutting-edge platform.
THE ROLE:
- Design and execute data analysis for market research projects, using both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Develop predictive models, segmentations, and advanced analytics to identify key trends and insights from consumer data.
- Apply machine learning and statistical methods to enhance data-driven strategies in product development, marketing, and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with market researchers, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of insights and recommendations.
- Conduct data wrangling and preparation, ensuring data integrity and alignment across sources.
- Stay updated on the latest data science and analytics trends, tools, and technologies in market research.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related role, ideally within market research or consumer insights.
- Proficiency in Python/R.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods, including regression analysis, clustering, and classification.
- Experience working with large datasets and conducting data wrangling and cleansing.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with market research methodologies, including survey design, consumer segmentation, and behavioral analysis.
