The 2019 Digital Accountancy Forum will host a high calibre speaker faculty to deliver presentations on the most pressing accountancy themes. The Forum will prioritise key topics impacting the industry and dissect the challenges, opportunities and practical considerations for achieving the various objectives. Underlying these core themes will be an insight into the barriers to evolution in accountancy such as regulatory reporting, data management, legacy systems and the digital skills gap.’
The core themes explored in last year’s summit included examining how to nurture digital literacy, how to accelerate technology implementation, how to adapt to new business models and the practical benefits of blockchain. We’ll be delving into these issues again in 2019 and will also further consider how to develop the next generation of accounting leaders, how the sector can overcome recent controversies and the potential for government intervention in the market. Changes and Cancellation We reserve the right to change event details if necessary, although we will endeavour to keep all changes to a minimum. We will inform you as soon as possible of important changes, for example, name or date changes.’
Substitutions may be made in writing at any time and will incur no penalty fee. Cancellations without a substitute delegate received a month prior to the event will be subject to a 20% cancellation charge. Delegatescanceling after this date without a substitute delegate will be required to pay the full fee and no refund will be made. Cancellations must be received in writing or via email and will not be accepted over the phone.’
