Thomas joined the European Commission in 2017 as the Director’in charge of Digital Business Solutions ‘including the Open Source Strategy’
within the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Informatics.’
Thomas has a Masters in Computer Science and throughout his career; he has held leading positions with a number of international companies in different industries like Consumer Goods, Manufacturing and Financial Services. Most recently, he was the CEO of the IT Services Group of a global Pharma Conglomerate.’
Currently, his Directorate focuses on the digital transformation of the European Commission and new opportunities to bring the public administration closer to the citizens.’
