We are partnering with a long-term client, a global leader in asset management and FX trading, to hire an experienced Senior/Lead Java Engineer for their core trading team. They are looking for an innovative Software Engineer to help advance their FX trading platform. This role provides the chance to work on high-impact projects, collaborate with top engineers, and work with the latest technologies in the field.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design and develop key components of the FX trading platform and its APIs.
- Produce and maintain detailed project documentation across various platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve live production issues as they occur.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to a small team of engineers.
- Contribute to the architecture and overall technical direction of the trading platform.
Key Requirements:
- 7+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Core Java.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring a small team.
- Familiarity with modern development practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and multithreading.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
