As a Senior Engineer in DevEx you will:
- build tools and services which enable others to do their best work.
- be responsible for enabling squads across the engineering group to spin up new services and create templates in a standardised way.
- ensure teams are leveraging best practices on things like observability and monitoring.
- operate at the intersection of software and platform engineering.
You'll likely be someone who…
- has worked commercially as a software engineer with a JVM language (Java, Scala, Kotlin) or Python but also care greatly for infra tools and frameworks like Terraform, GCP/AWS & CI/CD.
- is keen to remain an IC for the foreseeable future but is interested in gaining meaningful progression by leading projects, contributing more to design/architecture and driving good engineering standards/best practices.
- enjoys collaborating and finding efficiencies x-team with the end goal of delivering an outstanding product to the customer.
