Senior Full Stack Engineer
Tech: JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, ReactJS, Kubernetes
Perm Role – City of London
Hybrid Working Structure – Minimum 1 day onsite
Salary – 60,000 – 90,000
Harrington Starr has partnered with an innovative Crypto and Digital Asset house. They are seeking to hire an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong commercial experience across the JavaScript/ TypeScript technologies, with extensive commercial experience utilising Node.js and ReactJS framework.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing systems for Crypto Trading, Risk Management and/or Data Systems, however they will accept candidates from outside this domain.
Required Skills:
- Extensive commercial experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS and Node.js
- Strong experience developing within a microservice architecture – utilising communication patterns gRPC, GraphQL, REST
- Good experience with DevOps technologies – Docker, Kubernetes
- Good commercial knowledge of non-relational databases – PostgreSQL, MongoDB
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing scalable and secure web applications across the JavaScript/ TypeScript environment
- Development of microservice architecture, implementing and testing API integrations across these systems
- TDD ensuring high quality code
- Mentor and guide junior developers, performing code reviews and contributing to best practices
