Job Opportunity: Senior Java Developer
Location: Bristol
Hybrid: 3 Days on site
Salary: 60,000- 80,000

I’m currently working with a well-established Engineering Consultancy in the Bristol area who are looking for a Senior Java Developer (with ideal leadership experience) to join their growing team.
The company have been going for over 17 years and provide solutions & products to a variety of different industries across the UK and US markets, tasked with modernizing software environments and enhancing the consumer experience for many of their clients.

- Founded over 17 years ago.
- Work mostly within the UK market but have an expanding presence in the US.
- Operate across a variety of industries within the Engineering space.
- Award winning business with planned growth across 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bristol area 3 times a week in the office. Would you be open to relocation?
- Working within a team of 4-5. Total development team of 8-10.
- Develop applications for new greenfield enterprise projects.
- Maintain and upgrade existing products whilst also developing Cloud based apps.
- Mentor, coach, support and eventually lead the team from technical standpoint.
Tech Requirements:
- Essential Skills: Java, Spring, APIs, SQL, Unit Testing.
- Bonus Skills: Azure, JavaScript, CI/CD pipelines, GraphQL.
- Confident mentoring, coaching and supporting the development team.
- Good stakeholder management skills to take down requirements when needed.
