Key Responsibilities:
As part of an elite Java Engineering team’including experts in JVM internals and performance optimisation’you’ll work on:
- Enhancing system performance by collaborating with quants and computer scientists to optimise CPU/GPU utilisation within the JVM.
- Developing real-time market data systems and bespoke tools for signal research.
- Leveraging the latest versions of Java (no legacy tech) with advanced JVM features, garbage collection tuning, and tools like Gradle and Maven.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in Java, including knowledge of the latest versions and features.
- Proven experience with distributed systems, data structures, and algorithm design.
- A solid background in both low-level and high-level JVM optimisation.
