Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and Optimise: Lead the enhancement and optimisation of the FIX engine, focusing on performance, network connectivity, and low-latency requirements while acting as the Product Owner for FIX-related products.
- Code Excellence: Reverse engineer and enhance existing code, leveraging strong expertise in FIX standards, Java development, and modern tools like Jira, GitHub, containers, cloud, and test tools.
- Collaborative Efforts: Contribute to product design, assist with pre-sales activities, and adapt priorities to accommodate new client onboarding and project requirements.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Extensive Experience: 6+ years as a Java Developer in the Financial Services or FinTech industry, with ownership of product design (Low-latency experience is a plus).
- FIX Expertise: In-depth knowledge of FIX and related products/standards.
- Sales Acumen: Comfort and experience in assisting with sales/pre-sales tasks and activities.
