Job Title: Senior Data Scientist – 60-65k – West Midlands – Hybrid Role
Are you ready to leverage your Data Science expertise to drive significant business growth? We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist specialising in Pricing & Revenue Management for our client. In this pivotal role, you will establish the foundation for their revenue management practices, enabling the organisation to fully adopt best practices in this essential area.
What You’ll Do:
As a key member of our clients team, you will:
- Collaborate with fellow data scientists to develop a cutting-edge Revenue Management System.
- Take charge of revenue forecasting, delivering insights that empower business leaders to make informed decisions.
- Design and implement sophisticated algorithms for pricing strategies that maximise revenue potential.
- Execute comprehensive testing, including simulations and A/B tests, to evaluate the impact of your recommendations.
- Act as a champion for data-driven decision-making, enhancing our understanding of market dynamics, our offerings, and customer preferences.
- Partner with the Head of Revenue Management to promote the adoption of best practices across the organisation.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong understanding of revenue management principles, including demand forecasting, optimisation, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
- A degree in a quantitative field (BSc or MSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related disciplines).
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, with a proven track record in statistical modelling.
- Expertise in forecasting and optimisation techniques.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in industries such as airlines, hotels, retail, car rental, or e-commerce would be advantageous.
