Are you an experienced Senior Data Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity in the heart of London's FinTech scene? We are working with a rapidly growing FinTech start-up that is seeking talented Senior Software Engineers to join their expanding team.
About the Company:
This innovative company, which launched just two years ago, is already scaling up its tech team. Currently, their internal team consists of a CTO and Senior Frontend/Backend Engineers, and they are now looking to bring on a Senior Data Engineer to help drive their next phase of growth.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Data Engineer you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s core platform. You’ll be responsible for building scalable architecture, automating processes, and developing data pipelines to support the company’s rapid growth.
Working on projects that involve large-scale web applications and complex data systems, you’ll contribute to solutions that make a real business impact.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about building systems that scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and optimize backend architecture to support scale and efficiency
- Implement automation and data pipelines
- Integrate with 3rd party APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related subject
- 4-5+ years of commercial experience
- Strong expertise in Python (Flask experience preferred)
- Experience with Cloud technologies and infrastructure (AWS/Terraform)
- Experience with orchestration tools (Apache Airflow)
