I am currently working with a market-leading advanced analytics and call-tracking service working with some of the world’s most well-known tech brands! They’re ever evolving, using cutting-edge tech and require a strong drive for success!
As a Data Engineer, you will work on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data architectures and pipelines to support our growing data needs. This role requires someone with hands-on experience in data warehouse projects and a strong understanding of various aspects of data management, including data governance, data integration, and data security.
Key Responsibilities:
‘ Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines for handling large volumes of data.
‘ Lead and contribute to data warehouse projects, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval processes that meet business needs.
‘ Collaborate with the data science and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of data solutions into operational workflows.
‘ Implement and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure accurate and timely data flows across systems.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial data engineer or in a similar commercial role.
Skills:
o Hands-on experience with data warehouse technologies (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake).
o Proficiency in SQL and data modelling for optimising database performance.
o Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, dbt).
o Knowledge of data management practices, including data governance, security, and compliance.
o Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
Desirable Skills:
‘ Experience with data lakes and data stream processing
‘ Familiarity with data visualisation tools
‘ Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration tools
