About The Role
They are seeking a Data Engineering Lead to spearhead the development of post-trade reporting, analytics, and end-of-day risk infrastructure. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will lead a team of five engineers, ensuring operational excellence and developing automated workflows to support Risk, Operations, and related teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the digital assets division’s technical initiatives, focusing on post-trade reporting and risk infrastructure.
- Automate workflows for Risk, Operations, and related functions to enhance efficiency.
- Build robust, efficient systems for managing intra-day positions, risk, and P&L.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, set priorities, and deliver scalable solutions.
What They’re Looking For
Required:
- 7+ years of experience with Python, Java, Kotlin, or Rust, including 3+ years in financial services.
- Expertise in tools such as Spark, Airflow, Snowflake, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with blockchain technology and finance-related datasets.
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
