Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced AWS Architect to join our dynamic team. As an AWS Architect, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing AWS-based solutions for our clients. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with clients and colleagues across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into technical designs.
  • Lead cloud migration projects, ensuring seamless transition to AWS platforms.
  • Optimize existing AWS environments for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to development and DevOps teams on AWS best practices.
  • Stay updated on AWS services and emerging trends to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Prepare documentation, architecture diagrams, and technical reports.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as an AWS Architect or similar role, ideally within an AWS Partner organization.
  • Expertise in core AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM policies, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional), are highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, remote team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK Stack).
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional certification.
