About the Opportunity
MBN Solutions are proud to be partnered with a global leading Financial Services Consulting firm as they expand their IT team and welcome an experienced Data Engineer to join them.
As part of a small but expanding IT team, you’ll play a key role in driving innovation and supporting the organization’s technological evolution.
Within this role, you can expect to:
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines for efficient ETL processes, ensuring accurate data transformation, loading, and adherence to best practices.
- Implement data quality checks, cleansing, and validation to maintain integrity and support reporting and analysis needs.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to communicate data strategies, align project goals, and guide best practices.
- Troubleshoot and optimize data models for performance, scalability, and consistency across systems, while ensuring smooth integration.
- Lead or support projects, mentor team members, and document technical workflows, ensuring compliance with architecture, security, and governance standards.
About You
- Strong analytical skills with a curious mindset and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to engage with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Expertise in Azure Synapse and experience designing scalable data pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience with modern data architectures and Azure cloud services, and tools like Databricks, and Fabric.
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, MongoDB) and exposure to AI/Cognitive Search is a plus.
- Growth mindset with a willingness to learn new skills and technologies, and drive initiatives independently.
