Job Title: Cloud Engineer

Salary: 60,000- 75,000
Peaple Talent have recently partnered with a Data Infrastructure business, their cutting edge data marketplace and knowledge graph technology empower smarter decisions, improve productivity, and drive sustainability. Due to ongoing growth they are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join the team and play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising their infrastructure.
The Role:
- Optimise cloud environments for reliability and performance while implementing automation.
- Manage tickets, resolve incidents, and assist with data processing requests.
- Implement backup solutions and participate in recovery testing.
- Maintain detailed records of systems, configurations, and processes.
The Candidate:
- Experience in managing cloud environments (Azure), including Kubernetes and Docker for app deployment.
- Azure core services & concepts (compute, networking, storage, database management) including PaaS and Serverless (e.g. Apps Services/Azure functions)
- Scripting for task automation (e.g. PowerShell, Azure CLI)
- Containerisation and orchestration (Kubernetes)
The Package:
Base salary: 60,000- 75,000
