Your new company
I've been engaged on a project to recruit 2 Solutions Architects for a leading FMCG business based in their Cumbernauld office. You will lead, manage, and develop Technology Services Solution architecture and provide high-level solution architecture artefacts that align with the enterprise architecture, with the key aim of realising organisational strategic goals.
The organisation is award-winning and has experienced considerable growth over the past years, a trend that is set to continue as they take on the some of the biggest names operating in their field.
Your new role
It's no exaggeration to say this is some of the most bleeding edge work. You will be Accountable for ensuring all Solution Architecture artefacts align with the defined Enterprise Architecture. You will be providing technology expertise and solutions guidance across all areas of the application, technology and data landscapes.
Contribute to the development, management and continuous improvement of the overall solution architecture, supporting standards, frameworks and guardrails and to the delivery of the Architecture team backlog, providing clarity on priority items, ensuring timely progress in a structured manner ensuring compliance with Architecture governance standards.
You will be improving and developing current solution architecture and design controls; defining and enforcing architecture standards, methodologies, processes, tools and frameworks against which delivery projects will be governed.
What you'll need to succeed
The right candidate will have worked delivering in a technical environment preferably Microsoft Azure. You should have technical knowledge of on-premises infrastructure, cloud capabilities, networking, data platforms, integration, cyber security or workplace capabilities.
Excellent solution architecture and design documentation skills. You should have some experience of developing strategic plans and systems design and development. Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. The ability to engage with and influence key stakeholders across multiple markets and levels.
