Software Engineer -Senior / Principal – C++ / Python – Central London

Strativ Group are currently working with an amazing growing company specialising in developing state-of-the-art unmanned aircraft systems in the military and defence industry , they currently recruiting for a permanent Senior or Principal Software engineers to join their growing team.

As an C++ / Python Software Engineer, you will tackle a diverse range of challenges across networking, autonomy, systems integration, and more, making practical engineering trade-offs to achieve the best outcomes. Your work will ensure that systems operate cohesively to deliver critical results across various platforms

Core requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of C++ / Python experience – (Fintech, Medtech, Bigtech experience highly desirable)
  • Must hold Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree
  • Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis
  • Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases
  • A desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a UK Security Clearance

This is an onsite position with the potential to work from home 1 day a week
