Job Title: Software Engineer in Test
Location: Durham, NC, Westlake, TX & Merrimack, NH
Duration: 12 Months
The top three Must have skills:
- Understanding of Oracle
- Python
- Transferring data – very data heavy.
- Complex SQL queries and joins – what types of tools have they used to validate across different databases.
- Doing comparisons between 2 different database dumps.
The Expertise You Bring
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- 3+ years of professional Testing experience involving data and analytics
- Understanding of Data warehousing systems and the data migration concepts
- Experience with ETL/ELT validations in Oracle, Snowflake, Teradata, POSTGRES, and/or DynamoDB
- Experience with programming languages as Python such or Java and scripting languages like SQL is required
- Proven track record creating and executing Test Plans
- Good Understanding of Behavior Driven Development – BDD Framework
- Ability to multi-task and shift priorities in response to changing business needs
- Understanding of Dev Ops principles and strategies as well as how to apply them to multiple SDLC models is preferred
- Proper SDL standards including code review and documentation
- Good understanding of cloud technologies AWS or Azure is preferred
- Experience with Agile Scrum methodology required
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple teams across the organization
