Software Engineer Kent/Remote – 40,000 – 55,000 paA leading audio manufacturer are looking for 2 Software Engineers to join their development team creating next generation commercial audio products. They offer very flexible remote working so if you need to work almost completely remotely you can.Responsibilities:
- Develop desktop applications in JAVA & MATLAB
- Develop Embedded Code for Embedded DSP applications
- Design new features, fix bugs & offer user support to other engineers
Key Skills/Experience:
- Interest in Audio/Music
- Object oriented code in C++, Java or another OO language
- MATLAB/Python
- One of either:
- Knowledge of DSP principles
- Knowledge of Maths/Physics at BSc/Msc level
Any mix of the following is nice to have:
- Audio devices/systems experience
- Embedded C++ for DSP chips
- DevOps knowledge
- Linux
- Electronics understanding/experience with designing or testing PCB’s
- App development
