We are partnered with an exciting Fintech company who have just gone through their Series C funding and scaling their engineering team in London, or are also open to fully remote contracts.
As a Senior Java Software Engineer, you will be part of a team who are working on a platform responsible for the money of millions of people.
Responsibilities:
- Working in an agile, cross-functional team to build a resilient backbone which powers the growth of the company.
- Work closely with product owners, mobile engineers and other stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
- Be a Senior figure in the team and mentor less experienced engineers to get things done with at a professional level of quality.
- Work on Greenfield Product development as well as raise the bar for existing features
Requirements:
- A deep understanding of good practices in software development
- Strong experience working with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience engineering scales and reliable solutions
- Enjoy talking to stakeholders and show passion for the business objectives of your company
- Experience working with AWS/GCP/Azure is a big plus!
