We are representing a trusted consultancy client seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their London-based team. This hybrid role offers a mix of in-office and remote work. With Immediate starts available
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reliable, efficient data systems, applications, and platforms.
- Write well-tested, object-oriented Python code following best practices.
- Optimize data storage and processing using cloud-based services, with a focus on Azure Databricks.
- Implement parallel computing for large datasets and computationally intensive tasks.
- Programmatically deploy, schedule, and monitor workflows.
- Write and optimize complex queries for relational and non-relational databases.
- Contribute to business development initiatives.
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer with the ability to hit the ground running and act as a Senior Engineer on projects.
- Proficient in Python, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
- Strong understanding of cloud data services and big data processing.
- Skilled in workflow automation and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data bricks.
- Ideal candidates will have previously worked at a consultancy, but this isn't essential.
- Eligibility for SC Clearance.
