Some of the things you'll be working on:
- Design and develop high quality backend code working with Python/Django (we're language agnostic).
- Development of new software applications, features, and distributed systems that support a high-scale web application.
- Develop solid backend applications that are highly performant at scale.
- Work collaboratively with your team and stay up to date on the latest technologies/tools.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product leadership to plan and deploy new features.
- Contribute to the evolution of our backend stack and help mentor other developers.
- Contribute to each step of the product development process.
- Work close with leadership to architect, build and scale our backend infrastructure.
Some skills/experience we're looking for:
- Solid background in technical fields; Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, etc.
- Experience working with data structures, software development lifecycles, CI/CD and other technical tools.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with agile methodologies.
- Ability to work well in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong experience building robust and highly scalable web services.
- Experience working in a collaborative environment with a tight knit team of passionate engineers.
