A global, scaling payments and Fin-Tech company are seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Backend Developer to join their team on a fully remote permanent basis. The role will be predominantly work with Golang and Typescript.
The role can be delivered anywhere based in the UK.
You'll participate in the direction of the company and products, you'll be part of a small team where everyone has a voice. You'll use Go (amongst others) and its ecosystem to deliver event driven and distributed systems that can be consumed either directly by the customers or by other engineers.
This role requires a professional who has a keen eye for detail and will work alongside other developers to ensure the best designs for the growing business. You will build API’s and services that offer reliability to their customers and build elegant interfaces.
Senior Backend Engineer (Golang + Typescript) Key Technical Skills:
- Designing and scaling API Services
- A track record of taking software end-to-end, from inception working alongside product managers and designers to production and beyond
- Typescript & Golang
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Restful APIs – JavaScript SDK’s and libraries
- Experience working with modern Javascript development tools and test frameworks
- Familiarity with modern browser APIs and the web platform
- Experience working with distributed systems and its challenges
- Experience within the fintech, payments or banking space would be highly advantageous
