Title: Robotics Software Engineer
Full-time/Direct Hire Opportunity
Location: San Jose, CA (onsite)
Start Date: ASAP
No C2C/Corp-to-Corp
Must be authorized to work in US without restriction or sponsorship
Responsibilities:
* Research, integrate, and develop robotic frameworks to build processes for non-planar, additive materials deposition
* Drive solutions for robotic-based conformal printing
* Integrate various hardware and software subsystems into a coherent solution
Skills:
* BS/MS in applicable field (e.g., robotics, EE, ME, CS)
* Practical experience developing machine learning systems, frameworks, and libraries
* Experience with ROS or other robotics frameworks
* A desire to learn new innovative technologies and to improve personal development and skills
* Open to new challenges and work independently across disciplines to both investigate issues and identify solutions
* Strong software development skills that encourage code reuse among researchers and ability to write efficient, clean, and reusable code (C++ and Python)
* Solve fast paced hands-on complex problems
Preferred Qualifications:
* MS/PHD in applicable field (e.g., robotics, EE, ME, CS)
* Hardware integration experience for mechatronic systems (e.g., PLC, safety, controllers)
* Computational geometry knowledge for world modelling (obstacles etc); understanding of sensor processing stacks (vision, LiDAR, etc) and gracefully handling noise
