Lead Java Developer – REMOTE/BIRMINGHAM – MUST BE UK BASED (No sponsorship) – £80,000 – £90,000
Applause IT are partnered exclusively with a well-known, globally-established name within the e-commerce space (multi-billion GBP turnover) to recruit a new Lead Java Developer for their team. It's totally remote, so it doesn't matter where in the UK you're based, with flexible working hours and responsibility for hiring/leading your own team.
Given the nature of the role, you should be from a solid lead developer or architect background, with experience mentoring/leading juniors, being involved in/understanding of design/architecture of software solutions and 'right tool for the job' mentality.
You'll be working on something big, which will be both rewarding and challenging in equal measure – as such we are looking for somebody who is driven by taking ownership of projects, driving change and best practices, and who ultimately finds satisfaction in watching something grow and be successful and efficient.
