Lead Data Engineer – Up to 75,000 – 100% Remote
Our Client is offering an exciting opportunity for someone with extensive experience of implementing modern data and customer loyalty platforms. Ideally youll have previously led the delivery of a large data and/or loyalty platform through design, build, test, making sure available data meets business requirements. It is essential that you are a confident direction setter and subject matter expert who is able to communicate with business and technical stakeholders in a compelling and engaging manner.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the design, build, test and implementation of data pipelines into the clients Retail Analytics data platform from a variety of input data source formats, frequencies and latencies
- Work with key business consumers to prototype, build and enhance data interfaces, reporting data marts and analytical models.
- Manage engineering projects in collaboration with other team members (including with nearshore/offshore partners) to ensure rapid development of quality, scalable and sustainable data solutions, with global best practices and consistency.
- Maximise the automations, scalability, reliability and security of data services, focusing on opportunities for re-use, adaptation and efficient engineering.
- Hands on work to start with, as this company classed as a start up (however worldwide) you are going to be a focal point in building this team.
