Our client is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer for a remote direct hire opportunity.
Position Overview
The company is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join their Product Operations team, which is a part of the larger Engineering group.

Responsibilities:
As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you'll participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, which can include:
- Working with Developers, QA, and Product Management to define/evaluate requirements
- Assisting in the design, development, documentation, and deployment of software and Infrastructure
- Supporting all pre-production environments
- Participating in an on-call rotation to monitor/support production environments/applications
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, CIS, etc.)
- Hands on experience using a private cloud provider (preferably AWS)
- Familiarity with non-Windows based operating systems and CLIs
- 2+ years of experience writing production level code using a high level programing language
- 1+ year of experience Scripting in at least one of the following: Unix/Linux Shell Scripting, PowerShell, Python
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
