About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and positive DevOps engineer to work on a dynamic and innovative gaming project team within Playtech.
This role will be the lead dedicated DevOps engineer within the Corosin UK Agile delivery team. There are other members of the team somewhat familiar with some DevOps activity, but this role is to lead team DevOps activities
Our team works with a wider DevOps team across Europe who coordinate at the infrastructure and operational support levels, however day-to-day activities will be focused on the London Corosin delivery team.
You will have the chance to shape our technical product delivery, chose technologies and help us transform an internal tool suite into a set of industry winning products.
About the Team and Project
Corosin is a team within Playtech UK that creates new and innovative tools for the creation of online games. The Corosin team functions with the passion, freedom and attitude of a start-up, yet with the resources and customers of one of the worlds biggest gaming companies.
Our products are both innovative from a design perspective, but also utilise modern technologies and delivery approach (although this is where you come in).
The Corosin teams products are changing the gaming industry and are at the heart of Playtechs future and we would like you to be part of that future too.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Lead DevOps activities of the London Corosin team
Work with the Corosin application teams across a number of interesting and innovative products
Building and improving the team Continuous Delivery capability
Work with the wider Playtech/Corosin DevOps teams across several global sites
Assist in support of running products
Experience & Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Linux Scripting and Admin
- Experience with Continuous integration/Continuous Delivery
- Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker
- AWS – EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, API Gateway, DNS (Route 53),
- VPC – Configuring route tables, Subnetting, Setting up VPN connections (with AD servers for example)
- Infrastructure as code – Terraform (working with modules, writing modules)
- Python Scripting
- GIT
Desirable Skills
- Working in an Enterprise environment of many collaborating services from multiple teams
- Google Cloud
- Maven, Artifactory
- ELK, Grafana
- Working with Java and Scala Applications
- Experience in the Gambling/Gaming Industry
- Agile Delivery Process
