Key Responsibilities
- Data Exploration & Analysis: Analyse large, complex financial datasets to uncover actionable insights and drive decision-making.
- Machine Learning Development: Design, build, and deploy scalable machine learning models for financial forecasting, risk assessment, customer segmentation, fraud detection, and personalization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and analytics, to define problems, scope projects, and ensure seamless integration of ML solutions.
- Model Optimization: Continuously improve model performance and reliability using advanced techniques such as hyperparameter tuning and feature engineering.
- Visualisation & Communication: Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear, concise visualizations and reports.
What You Bring
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. PhD is a plus.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong programming skills in Python or R.
- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Experience with data manipulation tools (SQL, Pandas) and visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a bonus.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
- Financial Knowledge: Prior experience or understanding of financial systems, market trends, or risk modeling is highly desirable.
