Salary: 52,500 to 72,500 depending on experience plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution (when you put in 6%), 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

The overall vision within the Finance Platform is to promote value for our customers, colleagues and partners.
Our new Data Engineer will help our platform deliver business value through fully rounded engineering methods and technologies, ensuring platforms and software are built consistently with relevant patterns and practices. They will be able to continually develop themselves with industry standard methodology and tooling used across their engineering teams. They will also help us strive towards a new data-centric strategy and take existing and new applications forward into the future data models.
About the Role
As a data focused Software Engineer in the Finance Data team, you will be working with various stakeholders in the development of a new Finance data model, predominantly working with Business/Data Analysts who will be defining both data mapping and downstream consumption and integration requirements.
About You
- Understanding of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes
- Understanding of the end-to-end system development lifecycle
- Understanding of Enterprise Data Model concepts (e.g. BIAN)
- Understanding of Domain level Data Models (preferably Finance) and Reference Data application/mappings
- Oracle Data Integration Hub (DIH) foundations experience
- Oracle Financial Services Data Fabric (FSDF) mapping/config experience
- ErWin data model tool experience
- Understanding of Data Model integration with upstream/downstream tooling
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience with core components
- Oracle Database platform experience
- Understanding of deployment/data pipelines and code management integration
- Understanding of DevOps and Automation principles
