The role.
As a Data Engineer, you’ll design and deliver scalable, repeatable, and efficient data solutions that address clients’ needs by applying your technical expertise and systematic problem-solving approach.
You’ll provide practical advice on data technologies and strategies, helping clients optimise their data ecosystems while actively identifying opportunities to support them further.
Experience.
- Modern data management practices and technologies in hybrid/multi-cloud environments such as Snowflake + AWS and/or Azure.
- Designing reliable data models and structures for Snowflake.
- Designing and implementing efficient ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Python and SQL for data processing, manipulation, and analysis within
- Snowflake environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, orchestration, ingestion, and real-time data streaming tools and techniques.
- Handling diverse file formats e.g. Parquest, Avro, CSV, and managing file encoding processes.
- Solid understanding of data governance, architecture, warehousing, and integration with BI tools.
- Expertise in advising on cloud data services and assessing commercial implications.
- Financial services industry experience, particularly Retail Banking, Insurance, or Regulatory.

Working Patterns.
- Eligible to work in the UK without restrictions.
- Hybrid – minimum 2 days a week onsite (client or NWorld London office).
- Potential travel to clients and NWorld offices around the country so must be prepared to travel for work purposes.
