The Role
We have a brand-new role for a Data Analyst with skills in SQL and Python to work with a rapidly growing company who have received a huge amount of funding are now looking to add a huge amount of Data and Analytics capability to their business and clients.
This is well suited to data analyst who is looking for a new challenge. The role will involve development on current projects as well as new projects from an early stage. This is an ideal opportunity for someone to work on brand new projects, take responsibility of the final product and have an influence in the technologies used for this project. The team is a combination of experience and youth, and there is opportunity to progress in terms of salary and job role within the company as they expand rapidly.
For this role we could consider someone a little more Junior who has the foundational knowledge and skills and is looking for opportunities to learn. They have a full AWS account so you will have access to their training courses and support from their team where needed.
The Company
The company are now in a scaling mode and have been growing quickly, on-boarding new clients and have just received a significant amount of funding to scale their growth.
They have done a proof of concept for their analytics practise alongside engineers from Amazon and are now able to put this into practise and begin to push analytics and dashboards out to their customers and clients.
The Role
This is an analytical role using a cutting-edge Tech Stack; they use the suite of AWS products (AWS Athena SPICE, S3, Redshift and a Data Lake) and we are looking for SQL and Python experience from a programming perspective.
Initially the role will be focussed on generation some business changing insight and dashboards which will be for their clients (big name, blue chip organisations). They harness a huge amount of data so you will be working on some major projects within large data sets.
Longer term this role could well include Machine Learning – their nature of what they do and the field in which they operate generates a huge amount of data. Initially they are looking for some quicker wins, get their analytical capability off the ground, produce business information and insights but ML projects and more advanced analytical modelling are all in the longer-term plans.
The successful candidate must be comfortable in a client facing role and have some commercial experience in a data analytics role.
