We are currently recruiting for a Data Analyst for our client based in Glasgow City Centre.
This role is a contract role initially for 6 months.
Job Purpose Statement
The role of the Data Analyst will be to ensure that all data will be in formats that comply with the various system requirements. The role will cover the full administration of the system as well as having general responsibilities for the data integrity across the corporate IT systems.
Accountability Statements
‘Monitoring the system interfaces ensuring any exceptions are identified, analysed and rectified
‘Assist in the configuration and set up of data in use within the systems supported
‘Provides weekly/monthly reports to required timelines for inclusion in Departmental Scorecards
‘Assist in the configuration and set up of data in use within supporting systems
‘Lead in root cause analysis, identify and propose change request through formal process detailing findings
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
‘Knowledge of data flows and System Architecture to cover all asset IT systems
‘Analyse and implement system changes as and when required.
‘Proved analytical and problem-solving skills
‘Competent IT skills e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel
