SUMMARY
Arcticom, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a Data Analyst for the Dayton OH area. The Data Analyst position will oversee and conduct data analyses and supports the development and sustainment of a platform instance.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Analyze, decompose, and define functional data requirements based on re- engineered business process models, using progressive elaboration techniques.
- Prepare Information Asset deliverables that align business rules, LRPs, Roles and Responsibilities and authoritative data sources to business data attributes within and across projects and systems.
- Works with senior management, business partners and external vendors to define parameters and requirements for Information Exchanges.
- Analyze and decompose highly complex analytical reports related to AF legacy system data requirements.
- Coordinate and facilitate data workshops, maintains configuration control of data deliverables, manages and adjudicates deliverable feedback.
- Consults/prepares briefings as required.
- Provide data-centric analytic guidance and support to the Enterprise Architecture and Integration Teams

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications (applies to both this section and KSAOu2019s)
- Five (5) or more years of experience in research methodology, interface control document (ICD) analysis.
- Five (5) or more years of experience with data modeling and extracting data from data marts.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, related discipline or 5- 10 years equivalent experience.
- Must possess or be able to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries background investigation; requires US citizenship.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Experience in data modeling, taxonomies, ontological models, and systems analysis required.
- Familiarity with DoD and USAF data LRPs, to include DoD 4100.39, working knowledge of DLMS Transactions and Guidelines, IT Architecture Standards, and SDDP methodology desired.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to both technical and non-technical people.
- Ability to understand our business, be a team player and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.

- Experience leading and influencing others, including senior level personnel.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
