They do not offer an algorithm that provides a solution for large datasets, they merely provide certified big data, Hadoop and Cassandra training as well as help organisations understand big data. The organisation was founded in January 2012 and at the moment they are in early startup mode. Mike Merritt-Holmes, Pinal Gandhi and Tim Seears are the founders of this big data startup. Their objective is to help organisations extract valuable insight from big data.

Big data partnership helps organisations discover, develop and deliver big data solutions. They use big data engineers to create tailor made solutions for organisations. After delivering a solution, they can train the end-users to use the big data tools. They do offer the right way to help organisations, as they advice to start with a pilot and develop a proof of concept in order to have the entire organisation better understand big data and to create leverage.

At the moment, there are not many big data solutions providers that offer independent advice to organisations and it looks like that Big Data Partnership also uses partners to help organisations. In the growing market of big data there is still a lot of work to do in the coming decade and organisations will require (independent) advice to help them deliver big data strategies that have an impact.
