Datafloq enables anyone to contribute articles, but we value high-quality content. This means that we do not accept SEO link building content, spammy articles, clickbait, articles written by bots and especially not misinformation. Therefore, we have developed an AI, built using multiple built open-source and proprietary tools to instantly define whether an article is written by a human or a bot and determine the level of bias, objectivity, whether it is fact-based or not, sentiment and overall quality.

Articles published on Datafloq need to have a minimum AI score of 60% and we provide this graph to give more detailed information on how we rate this article. Please note that this is a work in progress and if you have any suggestions, feel free to contact us.

In order to provide direction to organizations that are looking to increase the value from data, GoDataDriven brought together 15 visual insights into one comprehensive infographic.

Critical Success Factors for a Data Driven Organization

As no less than 92% of organizations are convinced of the enormous opportunities of data, most organizations are increasing their budget for data operations this year. As visualized in the infographic of Big Data Survey, as executed by Dutch data services firm GoDataDriven, support from the management and a clear comapny vision on data are crucial for success with data.

The number of organizations that have included Big Data as a part of their overall strategy greatly outnumbers the organiations that currently see no place for Big Data in their strategy.

GoDataDriven also found that most companies are struggling most with making data available and realizing sufficient time to experiment. Experimentation is crucial, but often organizations lack the structure to allow experimentation and an agile working way. As not many businesses are able to bring their models into production, only 8% of organizations points out the optimization of their predictive model as biggest challenge.

Data is a Key Competence

If organizations would go to data school, they expect to get a 6 as a grade, enough to pass, but nothing that distinguishes an organization from its competitors. It is time for organizations to receive some tutoring. Data is a key competence and A grades in this field are a good investment that will provide competitive advantage in the years to come.
