VSSOD Provides Big Data Supply Chain Analytics

VSSOD is an emerging provider of supply chain visibility and big data analytics software that provides SAP customers with real-time execution applications. Their solution combines predictive and prescriptive analytics with business processes to enable real-time insights across order fulfilment, supply chain management, shipment logistics and channel operations.

The applications that VSSOD delivers can be executed in the cloud or on premises and are accessible via web portals or mobile devices, giving decision-makers visual insight into real-time transactional data when necessary. VSSOD focuses on proactively identifying demand and supply trends across the demand and supply chain network in order to optimize the production processes across the value chain.

The real-time information centre delivered by VSSOD provides insights for example for improved on-demand delivery, freight cost optimization, outbound logistics or for improved customer services. Customers of VSSOD are among high-tech companies, consumer goods, apparel & footwear companies and the life sciences industry.

VSSOD have created several products that each focus on a specific operational area. They were founded in 2010 by Sanjiv Gupta, a former SAP employee. It may be obvious that also in the supply chain big data can have many applications and provide with a lot of benefits for organisations.
