Peter studied environmental sciences and ecology at the ETH and University of Zurich. While his strong interest in biology and natural sciences remains, he gradually improved his R skills and started to enjoy programming and data analytics. This led to an internship at the Functional Genomics Center Zurich, where Peter helped setting up an R package. In his free time, travelling is considered the most rewarding experience, and thus he was also eager and happy to have spent a half-year long internship in Beijing.
