Datafloq enables anyone to contribute articles, but we value high-quality content. This means that we do not accept SEO link building content, spammy articles, clickbait, articles written by bots and especially not misinformation. Therefore, we have developed an AI, built using multiple built open-source and proprietary tools to instantly define whether an article is written by a human or a bot and determine the level of bias, objectivity, whether it is fact-based or not, sentiment and overall quality.

Articles published on Datafloq need to have a minimum AI score of 60% and we provide this graph to give more detailed information on how we rate this article. Please note that this is a work in progress and if you have any suggestions, feel free to contact us.

Understanding and managing your key stakeholders is of vital importance for any company. Especially in the fast world that we live in today, the list of stakeholders to keep track of is growing. NGOs, Government, IGOs, associations, academics, media, investors and many other key opinion leaders need to be kept updated and managed. It is a time-consuming task that could easily lead to problems if not taken care of correctly. The Stakeholder Company helps organisations connect to their key influencers and stakeholders through a CRM system that is based on big data.

Especially during a crisis, stakeholder management can prevent organisations from a lot of damage if not address properly. A good example of bad stakeholder management is the management of the oil spill of BP back in 2010. This shows that improper stakeholder management can cost a lot of money. Using visualizations and patented algorithms, The Stakeholder Company can help prevent such stakeholder crisis.

The Stakeholder Company was founded in 2011 by a former Microsoft lead and is a Singaporean Big Data startup.  Current clients come from all over the world and include companies such as HP, Nokia Siemens and Syngenta.

As they state on their website, The Stakeholder Company uses patented issue mapping and visualization software combining social network theory algorithms, crawlers, analysis engines and visualization modules. They combine all this information with content from the blogs and comments on social networks that pinpoint the most influential people for a company. Their algorithms crawl the internet and discovers relationships that are very relevant for organisations. Properly addressing these influencers can have a big impact on how a company is perceived. Knowing who your influencers are, is actually a must-have nowadays for organisations. What The Stakeholder Company differentiates from other social influencer-tools like Klout is that they also identify offline influencers such as the most relevant NGOs, Government organisations, activists, etc.

Furthermore, they map all stakeholders into an Issue Map to show which issues are trending and what the different stakeholders are saying about a company. This can help companies to react instantly when an issue is occurring and with that prevent a large-scale crisis such as the BP Oil stakeholder crisis.

The Stakeholder Company helps organisations take the full advantage of the Social Network Theory and spread an idea or solve an issue in a contagious manner. It is an innovative approach that, with the ever-expanding social networks individuals and organisations nowadays have, can definitely be effective. They have won several awards and at BigData-Startups we believe they have a very interesting proposition. We therefore give them a 7 bits rating.
