Datafloq enables anyone to contribute articles, but we value high-quality content. This means that we do not accept SEO link building content, spammy articles, clickbait, articles written by bots and especially not misinformation. Therefore, we have developed an AI, built using multiple built open-source and proprietary tools to instantly define whether an article is written by a human or a bot and determine the level of bias, objectivity, whether it is fact-based or not, sentiment and overall quality.

Articles published on Datafloq need to have a minimum AI score of 60% and we provide this graph to give more detailed information on how we rate this article. Please note that this is a work in progress and if you have any suggestions, feel free to contact us.

The Signals vision is to utilize and analyze external big data to reduce the risk and increase the probability for success in building and launching new products. The Signals’ solution is focused on making external Big Data immediately actionable for product teams: extracting key insights from merging market supply and demand indicators across the open web. They have modeled analyses for crucial new product development decisions, selected and validated premium external big data sources, and developed the Signals Playbook: an intuitive web-based platform that links insights to the underlying analyses and data sources.

Playbook is a web-based platform designed to collect, integrate and analyse Big Data from multiple sources and deliver strategic insights linked to NPD decision points. Signals systematically collects and analyzes data from mass amounts of online sources, both free and paid, structured and unstructured. One of Signals distinctive capabilities is the connection of disparate data sources of different types into a unified data model. The unified data model stores millions of object-knowledge ontologies that connect data across source types: for example, automatically linking consumer desires for “fizziness” expressed across social media, to technological signals for “carbonation” and “CO2”, and competitor activity in carbonated beverages. The result is customized research and insights for a key new product development stage-gate decision, linked to “supply and demand” indicators appearing across the open web.

Based on the analysis and insights delivered, Playbook delivers strategic recommendations on how an organisation should act, what product should be developed, and key indicators on how it should go about doing so.

Signals works with dozens of Fortune 500 companies across many different industries, concentrating on Life Sciences, Consumer Packaged Goods, Food and Beverage, and Energy industries. Playbook is currently in beta-testing, but is expected to hit the market soon.

Signals Intelligence Group was founded in 2009 by Gil Sadeh & Kobi Gershoni, with the goal of bringing the most comprehensive, nimble, and real-time best practices of military intelligence to businesses around the globe. Prior to 2013, Signals was called d&a Visual Insights and won Procter & Gamble’s “Innovation Capability Award,” awarded to the vendor that most enables P&G’s innovation goals. They have no patents (pending) and they have not participated in a capital raise. However, with the vast growing amount of data that is created and that organisations’ challenge for making big data actionable, Signals can bring a lot of value to organisations that want make smarter and faster decisions. Therefore we give Signals a 7 bits rating.
