Datafloq AI Score: 84

Datafloq enables anyone to contribute articles, but we value high-quality content. This means that we do not accept SEO link building content, spammy articles, clickbait, articles written by bots and especially not misinformation. Therefore, we have developed an AI, built using multiple built open-source and proprietary tools to instantly define whether an article is written by a human or a bot and determine the level of bias, objectivity, whether it is fact-based or not, sentiment and overall quality.

Articles published on Datafloq need to have a minimum AI score of 60% and we provide this graph to give more detailed information on how we rate this article. Please note that this is a work in progress and if you have any suggestions, feel free to contact us.

Crimson Hexagon is a patented social media analytics platform using big data to generate insights into the ever-growing volume of conversations happening in the online world. Their analytics platform called Crimson Hexagon ForSight, is based on a new mathematical theory that was created at Harvard. The big data startup can help organisations with information about how customers really feel about a brand, how they react to advertising or what the most important drivers are for customers to buy a product.

The platform delivers near real-time insights in the billions of conversations that are happening online. Crimson Hexagon claims to analyse all kinds of messages in the blogosphere and social network ranging from tweets or Facebook posts to forums and even the Chinese Sina Weibo platform. In addition they include millions of blogs, YouTube comments and TripAdvisor/Amazon reviews. In fact, their social media analysis library currently already contains over 250 billion posts. This vast library allows them to learn from what people are saying online and with an accuracy of 97%

It is capable of identifying patterns in the message that people place online to express their opinion about a variety of topics. These patterns will help find answer to specific questions about how customers think about your company. This information can help marketeers better personalize and create their messages for a specific target group. The platform provides a clear dashboard that shows for example the amount of positive or negative comments, the total mentions. User can drill further down into the data to discover the relevant patterns and insights.

Crimson Hexagon was launched in 2007 and founded by Garry King, the Albert J. Weatherhead III University Professor at Harvard University and one of only 22 with the title of University Professor, Harvards most distinguished faculty position. Since the launch it has received $ 5 million in funding from Charles F. Dolan. In 2011 it was named The 10 Most Innovative Companies in Web by Fast Company.

Crimson Hexagon is a revolutionary tool that uses the new mathematical approach taking into account many more sources than most sentiment tools. This has resulted in that many large companies such as Edelman, ESPN or Paramount use this tool to understand public perception. Therefore we give them a 7 bits rating.
