September 30, 2021 floq.to/MCjqK

Westlake Village, CA Data management solution provider, Astera Software, announced a webinar series on data warehouse automation to help organizations turbocharge the design, development, and deployment of their data warehouses.

The first part of this webinar series, titled Turbocharge Data Warehouse Deployment with Automated Schema Modeling, will be conducted on 5th October, 2021 and is geared towards both technical and business users. Featuring one of the biggest names in the data warehousing space, James Serra, the webinar will provide a comprehensive look at Astera’s unique automated approach to data warehouse design from initial schema modeling to configuration for the data warehouse and deployment.

Speaking with Astera’s product evangelists, Serra will shed light on why creating functional data models is the most fundamental step of the data warehousing process and how getting this part right is the key to an effective analytics architecture.

In this webinar, Astera’s product evangelists will also explain how the company’s latest tool, Astera DW Builder, employs a metadata driven approach to data warehousing for enhanced speed and agility. This approach coupled with Astera DW Builder’s intuitive, code-free interface significantly reduces the time required to build a data warehouse from months to just a few days.

Keeping changing business requirements in mind, the tool builds data models in several iterations instead of all in one go for a more flexible analytics architecture. This gives users the ability to test and verify the output of each iteration to ensure that their data warehouse is functioning exactly how they need it to.

As security remains a pressing concern for all organizations today, Astera’s product evangelists will also explain how Astera DW Builder gives you more control over your data, allowing you to design customized schemas to expose only relevant information for BI purposes. The platform-agnostic tool can thus be used to build and verify data models at speed and propagate any changes to the database of your choice.

The product also features numerous automation features including the ability to reuse data pipelines to save time and populate your data warehouse at speed for faster time-to-insight. Some of these automation features will also be demonstrated live in the webinar to help viewers understand how the tool can be used to automate the entire data warehousing process from creating data models to connecting the data warehouse to BI tools for enhanced visualization.
