As a Sr Healthcare Data Analyst, you will be doing production support for the Optum at Home ecosystem, working to provide the best possible data quality for our downstream partners.
The ideal candidate has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and an aptitude for learning new technologies and skills. The role will require deep, hands-on technical skills in designing, developing, and implementing data extraction, transmission, and automation processes to support scalability and performance.
You will have the ability to advise stakeholders and will be a key member of the delivery team.

Work closely with developers and business teams to implement and improve data validations across the ecosystem
Interpret data and communicate results to stakeholders to understand the data specifications and how to improve overall data quality from a non-technical standpoint
Work with cross-functional teams in solving complex and/or critical issues, and to develop innovative solutions
Organize, sort and filter data in order to distinguish patterns and recognize trends
Understand, quantify, and communicate data topics effectively
Work with business and leadership stakeholders across platforms to enhance data quality for enhancing program value
Detect and address data issues to remediate data quality problems
Make recommendations based on the analysis and provide explanations for reporting results for both internal operations and our customers
Interpret requirements and translates them into data requirements for complex projects
Communicate effectively with internal and external team members

4+ years of experience performing data analytics and reporting
4+ years of experience with relational database systems (SQL Server or Oracle)
Experienced in data validation – spot checking output, cross referencing different sources to confirm data, problem solving for discrepancies
Proficient in SQL for data extraction and analysis – coding, building queries, joins
Proficient in Excel, formulas, and VLOOKUPs
Experience working with raw healthcare data
Experience with Agile concepts and methodologies
Knowledge of data release precautions and HIPAA regulations
Knowledge of Kafka a plus
Knowledge of API a plus

The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada/New York City residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
