intelligent bioimaging technologies? If so, this Data Scientist position could be an exciting
opportunity to consider.
As a Data Scientist in Bioimaging Analytics, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering state-of-the-art analytics solutions to improve project cycle time,
supporting a range of imaging technologies, including but not limited to CT, PET, MRI,
tissue/cellular and ultracellular imaging.
- Being the key liaison with internal and external partners to translate extracted
information into relevant biology understanding, aligned with business needs to support
decision-making endpoints for drug discovery and development.
- Leading the development, optimization and deployment of data processing pipelines at
scale on appropriate infrastructures and interfaces, including high-performance computing
- Master's or higher degree in data science or related fields, with demonstrable
knowledge in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision.
- At least three years of experience in bioimage analysis procedures, including but not
limited to signal enhancement, denoising, data preprocessing, image segmentation, object
detection, feature engineering/extraction, dimensionality reduction, predictive modelling,
biostatistics, derived data visualization and exploration.
- Three or more years of experience with best practices in code-, data- and metadata-
warehousing and versioning, high-performance clusters/cloud computing platforms.
- Three or more years of experience utilizing Python, R or other programming languages
for data modeling and visualization, able to translate computerized features into meaningful
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Ph.D., post-grad degree with proven skills and published research/work related to
computer vision, radiology/radiomics.
- Familiarity with integrative multi-omics and/or multi-modality data fusion, system
biology, network analysis.
- Experience in MLOps, continual learning, human-in-the-loop productions, data
visualization, and business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Spotfire.
- Accountable communicator to provide a collaborative interface with project
stakeholders, fellow data scientists, and engineering teams.
- One or more years of experience in image acquisition techniques (e.g.
CT/PET/MRI/fluorescent imaging assays)
