Zebra Solutions Architect
My client is multinational technology company, looking for a Solutions Architect to join their growing team to provide support to all pre-sales activity globally as well as leading the technical design of Zebra-based solutions to meeting customer needs.
The Solutions Architect will be expected to:
- To play a proactive role in growing the Zebra AutoID solutions business through supporting sales covering all aspects of the Zebra portfolio including (but not necessarily limited to) Print and Mobile Computing.
- To support the direct channel with consultancy and training, taking the technical lead in designing solutions, advising both sales colleagues and customers alike on appropriate configurations and workflows.
- Responsible for solution design, turning customer requirements into deliverable configurations incorporating hardware and software solution as appropriate in order to assist with winning business.
- For more complex solutions work with the RE SA BDM team, Product Management & Zebra to deliver end-to-end solutions in line with the customers' needs and contribute to / generate proposals and responses to Request for Proposals.
- Work with Sales and Pre-Sales teams to identify next steps for opportunities within each account and promote the Zebra hardware, software and services portfolio through to sales to maximize revenue streams, in order to protect and increase profitable services revenue.
- Ensure successful pilot/POC deployments of the solutions with a view to retaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. This may require onsite engagement in implementations.
- To work with the opcos sales teams to proactively determine knowledge gaps and implement training and consultancy to fill these gaps and to ensure skill levels are maintained based on current and future requirements ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Work closely with in-field sales team providing timely knowledge of Zebra portfolio and propositions.
The Solutions Architect will possess:
- An understanding of key operational processes associated with the Retail, T&L, Manufacturing and Healthcare verticals and how AutoID solutions can positively impact these, both operationally and commercially.
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Must have the Consultation Skills required to audit, assess, analyse, design and technically propose Zebra solutions including Hardware and software configuration
- Consultative approach to solving complex problems
- The ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- The ability to work across multiple levels both internally and externally to communicate the messages associated with Zebra-based solutions. This includes the ability to communicate (both verbally and in writing) technical solutions in such a way that they can understood by both commercial and operation contacts.
