Software Engineer

The role
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to work on our clients Mobile data connectivity platform SIMPro. The candidate will possess a good knowledge of PHP, Symfony 4/5 Framework, functional and unit testing and ideally some experience of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular. We are looking for someone who is flexible open to new ideas and articulate.

Symfony 4/5, Angular 12, Rabbit MQ, Apache Solr, Java, Node JS, AWS, Kubernetes
Responsibilities include:
Support and enhance existing applications as well as working on new features.
Working in an agile development team and participating in code reviews
Write and maintain technical documentation
Write tests for your own code and increase test coverage for our applications
Contribute to architectural and code review discussions that impact our engineering ecosystem
Skills required:
RabbitMQ or similar messaging platform
Apache Solr
Experience with Java and / or Node JS would be an advantage
Familiarity with SOLID design principles
Software security BSIMM / OWASP
