Role Description:
Working as analyst / developer part of Program Trading technology team based in EMEA. Work
includes analysis, design and coding part of in-house internal order management framework written
in Java. Collaboration with wider team required to cover EMEA / AMRS / APAC regions.
The Team:
The EMEA Portfolio Trading team is a friendly and collaborative team of 30, having grown
organically through many significant deliveries over the past few years.
The team works together to deliver complex solutions, closely with business and technology
partners locally and globally, in an environment that encourages continual improvement and
personal development.
Core Skills:
We’re looking for candidates with strong Java skills, including multi-threaded, complex order
management systems. Understanding of Equities Delta-1 trading knowledge (basket trading, single
stock trading, ETFs, futures, etc.) will be a plus.
The individual should have a positive attitude, enjoying working both in a team and
independently. Candidates should be comfortable managing senior stakeholders, as well as taking
increasing responsibility for project delivery, as their experience grows.
Candidates should be quick-learners, good communicators, well organised and with a good attention
to detail.
