Our IT strategy is

We are looking for
an ambitious, forward thinking software engineer to help us develop innovative solutions across
our software products, in all aspects of the product lifecycle – from product inception to
production delivery. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who is interested in exploring
software technologies throughout the full stack and contribute to delivering business critical
applications for our customers and business users.

ABOUT THE
LOCATION
Our primary office
location is in Egham. Occasionally, some meetings will be held on-site and require travel to the
office at the employee’s expense. This is likely to be less than 10 times a year. At all
other times, the employee can work remotely or in the office as they choose.
Responsibilities
-
Individual
contributor performing application design and coding across our solutions -
Consistently
analyze, translate, re-factor, and code software applications according to specifications
provided by our product managers and business analysts -
Develop new and
maintain existing software solutions -
Assist in
analyzing and resolving routine to moderately complex software application problems -
Learn and apply
new technologies used by the team in software solutions for which it is responsible -
Develop all
aspects of the application suite from the UI to the data store and automated unit tests -
Share your
experiences with the team and at the same time develop yourself by learning from the team
experiences -
Analyze and
improve efficiency, scalability and stability of applications while delivering impactful
business value -
Collaborate with
other teams to make architectural decisions and improvements -
Participate in
support and security remediation activities -
May require
occasional on-call duties
Qualifications
Experience
-
Technologies: C#,
XML, JSON, .Net, SQL, Javascript, SQL Server, Selenium, SpecFlow -
WebAPI and
RESTful web services -
Experience of
using one or more source control system systems (preferably Git) -
Some experience
with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, APIM -
Experience of
PowerShell Scripting -
Test Driven
Development -
Working in Agile
Scrum Teams -
Working with
SOLID Principles -
Experience in
developing solutions on the Microsoft development stack -
Designing and
creating reusable components with an appreciation for creating SOA -
Experience
working in a fast-paced Agile development environment as part of a cross-functional team that
is working with a TDD and BDD approach
