Our client is looking for a software engineer to play a key role on Data Warehouse Engineering and Analytics team. The successful candidate will participate in all phases of infrastructure rebuilds and automation as well as perform database administration, software patching, configurations, testing, implementation, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop and maintain infrastructure for Verisigns data Warehouse product
- Support the configuration and administration of all the tools used by the data warehouse team
- Perform code reviews, unit testing and integration testing during software releases
- Design solutions for collecting new data and increase efficiency of existing processes
- Mitigate vulnerabilities and apply security patches as per Verisigns information security standards
The skills and experience required to be successful in the position is:
- PL/SQL and shell scripting
- Infrastructure as code tools like terraform
- Deploying applications using containers docker preferred
- Deployment automation tools like Ansible
- Experience with Git and Jenkins
- Familiar with Oracle Database Administration

- Python
- Hadoop (Hive, Sqoop)
Education and experience required:
- 5+ years of related experience
- 4 Year Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
